Advertisement? WTF?

Let's talk about a thing I have been pondering for a while i.e Advertisement. The advertisement has influenced us directly or indirectly in many decisions we make. I don’t like the way the celebrities are put in the advertisement without skin in the game. Let’s say a hot lady talks about the services offered by banking institutions. Indirectly, she is insisting us to use the services provided by those institutions. What if the bank has been declared bankrupt? What if the bankers with ties were frauds? Who shall be responsible? The bank of course but what about the hot lady?

What about a sexy chick advertising refined oil/artificial foods/junk foods on social media platforms? Has she checked the quality of those inedible foods? Is it justifiable to scream the heart out to insist on people to consume for the sake of paychecks? You got your pay-check and is it all over? Hell, no! What about the consequences of that advertisement?

What I think is one must validate the services or products they are advertising. They must be held accountable for every fucked up thing consumed by general people and for instilling long-term problems. Recently, I found an advertisement that advocates:

Don’t count calories while making memories.

Wtf? What if someone stops counting calories and suffers obesity from large consumption throughout the year? Stop manipulating people if you don’t become accountable. One day you all will be sued.
